Monica is incredibly skilled. I came in with a clear idea of what I wanted and a bunch of reference photos—some of which definitely contradicted each other—and somehow she still delivered a haircut that exceeded my expectations. The cut has grown out unbelievably well and looks chic at every stage.

It started as a cute, choppy Parisian bang and has gradually evolved into soft, graceful curtain bangs—without ever crossing into the dreaded 70s soap opera look (which has always been my fear with curtain bangs). My hair feels light, has beautiful movement, and is extremely easy to take care of.

Monica was refreshingly honest that I’d need to blow-dry my bangs at first, but aside from that, maintenance has been minimal—and as the bangs grow, even that becomes less necessary. She’s clearly very knowledgeable and shared great tips and hacks for keeping my bangs exactly how I want them and for preventing my hair from getting greasy too quickly.
