Get answers to common questions about Consultation.
Bring photos of looks you like, current product list, last color date, hair care routine, and any extension details. Sharing allergies or scalp concerns helps us plan safely and create a precise custom color strategy.
Expect 20–40 minutes for a focused one-on-one consultation. We’ll assess hair condition, discuss inspiration, outline steps, estimate timing and cost, and determine whether additional sessions or treatments are required.
Yes — if you pre-book your color appointment the same day, the $50 consultation fee is applied as a deposit toward your service. If you don’t book, the fee covers the stylist’s assessment and planning time.
Absolutely. During the consultation we evaluate your hair length, density, and color to recommend extension types, shades, and optimal placement. We’ll also discuss maintenance, cost, and whether a trial application is recommended.
Sometimes. If we’re planning lightening, drastic color changes, or extensions, a strand or patch test may be recommended to assess lift, tone, and potential sensitivity. We’ll advise during the consultation whether testing is necessary.
Bring photos of inspiration, a list of recent salon services, current product names, and note any scalp sensitivities. Arrive with dry, unstyled hair if possible. This helps your stylist assess condition and craft a realistic plan.
