Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Babylights, includes gloss.

Appointments usually require 3 to 4 hours depending on hair length, density, and desired lift. The process includes foiling, processing, rinsing, the complimentary bonding treatment, and gloss application. Plan for extra time if you add a cut or styling, which are booked separately.

When performed professionally with our bond-infused lightener and gloss, damage is minimized. The complimentary bond treatment helps protect and strengthen strands during service. Proper at-home care, regular trims, and maintenance glosses further reduce cumulative stress and maintain hair health.

Maintenance varies: a gloss to refresh tone is recommended every 4-6 weeks, while full babylights touchups are usually scheduled every 8-12 weeks depending on regrowth and desired brightness. Your stylist will recommend a personalized timeline at consultation.

We recommend a patch (and allergy) test at least 48 hours before your appointment if you're new to our salon, have sensitive skin, or haven't used color products recently. This ensures safety and prevents unexpected allergic reactions.

Cut and styling are not included with the Full Babylights service and must be booked separately. You can add a haircut or blowout to your appointment—please indicate this when booking so we can allocate extra time and the appropriate stylist.

Come with clean, dry hair that's been washed no less than 24-48 hours beforehand to preserve natural oils for scalp protection. Bring inspiration photos and list recent color history or products used. Arrive on time so your stylist can complete the full service.
